A new national initiative aims to bring digital skills training to all public schools by 2027.
In a bid to prepare students for a tech-driven future, the government has announced the launch of a nationwide digital literacy program for K-12 education.
The program includes funding for infrastructure upgrades, teacher training, and free access to coding platforms.
Education Minister Sarah Kim emphasized the importance of bridging the digital divide, stating, “This program is about opportunity, inclusion, and preparing students for tomorrow’s economy.”
The rollout will begin in urban districts, expanding to rural areas over the next two years.
