The national assembly passed a climate response package aimed at improving readiness against environmental disasters. The plan includes investment in fire-fighting equipment, agricultural support for drought-affected areas, and reforestation projects. Environment Minister Eleni Papadaki hailed the bill as “a turning point in climate resilience.”
